I had always kept an eye on the Benefit Watt’s Up highlighter but the price constantly held me off. I thought it was bloody expensive.

The shade is a radiant peachy champagne that provides a perfect and natural sheen to my skin tone. At first, the shimmer seems a bit overwhelming but once blended properly it results to a pretty little glow. Actually the colour is neutral enough to flatter most skin tones.

I have tried different types of highlighters and so far, nothing beats the creamy and soft texture of the Watt’s Up which I believe it’s a best suit for dry skin. The consistency is creamy without being greasy which makes it, at least for me, the easiest highlighter in the cosmetic world to use. Another fact about this little beauty; its formula is fairly lasting, notably when layered under a powder.

As many of you, I find all Benefit packaging to be “originale”. The highlighter comes in a double ended retractable stick. One end’s the product and the other a little buffing sponge which I never bother to use. Fingers work better.

I have never been a highlighter person but I did fall in love with the Benefit Watt’s Up. It is undeniably worth every penny.

Every year, I’m looking forward to this season for two main reasons; first the temperature drops and the second it’s holidays. I love the holidays. Celebrations are enormous and various. To me, warm cloths, hot drinks, yummy cookies …etc. are a necessary element for this period but the holiday traditions are never complete without my “every year awaited” range Vanilla Bean Noel from Bath & Body Works.

It was 6 years back when I first got it as a present from a co-worker and I right away loved it. I realized later on, when I went to stock up, that this scent was only sold over Christmas.

To start, the packaging is incredible. The white, green and gold are really pretty making every single item irresistible. For this year I picked the Vanilla Bean Noel shower gel, sparkling snowflake scrub, the 24 hour moisture ultra shea body cream and the nourishing hand cream.

The scent is, to me at least, is simply marvelous. It is combining fresh vanilla bean, sugar cookies and whipped cream making it definitely warm and sexy that I can’t have enough of.

Formula wise, for the creams obviously, is rich and tick but sinks pretty quickly. The longevity of the scent from the other hand is splendid and lasts for hours. I usually lean towards floral scents, but this is a really nice a warm vanilla that shines with the holidays spirit. I would have to admit though that it is a scent I would consider only in fall/winter months but not throughout the whole year.

Still confused what to get as a last minute gift? Or simply wanting a Christmas-y scent to enjoy this season, the Vanilla Bean Noel range from Bath & Body Works is with no doubt a great option to consider.

My skin loves a good scrub. The Lush Ocean Salt Face and Body scrub is a product I immediately fell in love with and today I thought I’d tell you why.

A grainy yet soft based scrub with an amazing summery smell topped with lime, it is housed in its typical black Lush tub. Once opened, you will find a relatively blue layer of tick chunky sea salt that’s supposed to be mixed up with the rest before use…

It’s mainly made of sea salt, as you can tell be the name to scrub away any dead skin and dirt.  It also contains seaweed absolute, avocado butter and extra virgin coconut oil to soften and hydrate the skin. Lush also incorporated in this mixture grapefruit, lime and violet leaf absolute for brightening. Unfortunately I noticed that this scrub holds paraben but in very low percentage.

After one use, I was instantly pleased by the clean and smooth feeling and look of my skin. One sure thing is that all crap that has been staying in my skin was gone. Another amazing fact about the Ocean Salt Scrub is the hydration and fresh scent are felt for hours later thanks to its ingredients that work wonders in fact. However the gritty texture might be too harsh for everyday use and I personally use it only once or twice a week.  

The Lush Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub is one of, if not the best scrub I’ve ever used. It’s an all in one product that could be used as a cleanser, scrub and a moisturizer with an only grasp that it’s definitely not a product where a little goes too long, a pricey practice to maintain but I’m less likely to hold down any sooner considering its effectiveness.
