Hello my lovely readers,

After posting my morning skin care routine, it is obviously the time to talk about my evening one. I decided to split my regimen into two posts in order not to make a long boring one for you guys… With this said, and with no further ado, let’s jump into it.

To give you a brief background on my skin; I have a dry, dehydrated and nowadays dull skin type. I have few dark spots which the colour intensity can increase easily because of stress, lack of water, diet.. etc.

After wearing makeup or sometimes even without, I first start with removing all the bulk, dirt and oils that accumulated throughout the day and for that I’ve been lately using the extra virgin coconut oil and I’m extremely obsessed with. I simply massage it into my skin for 2-3 minutes and I remove it by splashing warm water. Not only it’s natural, but it is the most efficient makeup remover I’ve ever used in my entire life. It literally melts down all kind of makeup in no time, leaving the skin very soft and hydrated. The only down side, as I’ve explained in an earlier post here, is the greasy residue however as many of you would know by now that I’m a cleansing freak and would go for double, if not triple, cleansing. Check out the truth about it here. And for that I use the same thing of my morning routine; the Clinique liquid facial soap extra mild and the Beauty Formulas Vitamin E foaming facial wash.

I follow up with Rose water as a toner to refresh the skin and lock in moisture. Then it’s time for my best part, that is the DIY Oil Serum, and I’m sure I’ve been saying this for a million time but I just can’t help it!!!

I let the oil set up for 10 minutes and will grab the Dr. Andrew WEIL for Origins Mega-Bright skin tone correcting serum which works on the dark spots and leaves the skin bright and even instantly and overtime.

My last serum is the Origins Plantscription anti-aging serum. What? A lot already???? Well I’m thirty something, what do you expect???? … I’m impressed about this stuff, as I’ve really noticed a change since I started using this product in my under eye fine lines and forehead ones.

Lastly, I moisturize. Using my ring finger I apply the Origins A Perfect World For Eyes. I can’t say that it made any difference in regards of the dark coloration however it certainly helps the lines seem less noticeable. For the rest of my face and neck, I enjoy applying the Origins High-Potency Night-A-Mins thanks to its citrus smell. There is a noticeable improvement in firmness and hydration of my skin after using this product. It’s a tick night moisturizer without being greasy and my skin simply drinks it up! For my lips at the very last of this regimen, I couldn’t find anything better than the incredible Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm with its extreme luxurious texture that I’m obsessed with and I reviewed here.

I’m finally back. I would like first to say that I’m extremely sorry for being away for such a long time. Believe me I really miss you. I’ve been really busy sorting out stuff in my life and working on re-branding my blog, maybe!!!! … There are so many things going on at this time and I just keep my fingers crossed.

I pointed out earlier, here, the importance of adapting our skin care regimen to the seasonal change; winter in this case.  I don’t know about you, but my skin loves moisture despite the fact that it isn’t in its best shapes nowadays. But that’s related to other reasons; stress, diet…etc. To keep this story short, here’s my relatively fuss free, quick and simple morning skin care routine during winter!

I like to cleanse and tone my face right after I wake up not only to refresh my skin but also to prepare it for the day ahead. I constantly try new cleansers and at this time for the year; my first choice is the ones with lotion or creamy consistency. That said; I’m currently switching back and forth between the Clinique liquid facial soap extra mild and the Beauty Formulas Vitamin E foaming facial wash. Right after, I apply rose water as a toner and hands up; I’m loving this stuff. Some of you would skip this step, but let me clarify that the toner is CRUCIAL for a healthy looking skin as it locks in the moisture.

After few minutes from allowing the toner to set, it’s time for my very much loved natural serum; Argan Oil. You’ll find all my DIY serums posted here. I can’t say enough the importance of this serum, it’s simply my “can’t live without” beauty hack.

At last, but certainly not least it’s time to moisturize and for that I’m still sticking to the Clinique superdense SPF20 age defense eye cream and Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion + as they tend to be my moisturizers of choice in morning as they are lightweight and yet hydrating.

For my lips, I’m again still holding on my lips savers; Noviderm Soothing Repair Lipstick  and Rimmel Lip Conditioning Balm as I explained here.

Finally a proper skin care routine should never be complete without the use of daily sun protection. Sure so many would say that there isn’t much sun during winter but UVA rays are there all day and every day. I’ve got to admit; I’m one of those who are so bad and lazy at this.

My skin loves a good scrub. The Lush Ocean Salt Face and Body scrub is a product I immediately fell in love with and today I thought I’d tell you why.

A grainy yet soft based scrub with an amazing summery smell topped with lime, it is housed in its typical black Lush tub. Once opened, you will find a relatively blue layer of tick chunky sea salt that’s supposed to be mixed up with the rest before use…

It’s mainly made of sea salt, as you can tell be the name to scrub away any dead skin and dirt.  It also contains seaweed absolute, avocado butter and extra virgin coconut oil to soften and hydrate the skin. Lush also incorporated in this mixture grapefruit, lime and violet leaf absolute for brightening. Unfortunately I noticed that this scrub holds paraben but in very low percentage.

After one use, I was instantly pleased by the clean and smooth feeling and look of my skin. One sure thing is that all crap that has been staying in my skin was gone. Another amazing fact about the Ocean Salt Scrub is the hydration and fresh scent are felt for hours later thanks to its ingredients that work wonders in fact. However the gritty texture might be too harsh for everyday use and I personally use it only once or twice a week.  

The Lush Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub is one of, if not the best scrub I’ve ever used. It’s an all in one product that could be used as a cleanser, scrub and a moisturizer with an only grasp that it’s definitely not a product where a little goes too long, a pricey practice to maintain but I’m less likely to hold down any sooner considering its effectiveness.

Many of us, and especially the lazy ones…..no offense, are permanently asking if we really need to double cleanse.

I’ve got to say that despite the scientific truth, I have always double cleansed, sometimes triple, my face and body just by thinking about the entire polluted environment we are living in and the tons of products we apply daily.

Dermatologists and specialists swear by this old Japanese cleansing method. Indeed double cleansing is a decisive process to a clean and healthy skin and an optimal absorption of your moisturizers, serums and creams. Over the course of the day, our skin is covered with layers of “stuff”. And what it was in the morning is definitely what it ended up looking in the evening; therefore it’s sure thing we can’t get rid of everything in the first round.

The double cleansing method is pretty simple. It involves dissolving all makeup and impurities followed up with the act of face washing to take care of the leftover of the grime, which lead to premature signs of aging if left on the skin.

Two cleansers??? Which ones should you be getting? There is a huge variety to choose from but what matters it’s what works best for your skin. For the first step, my preference goes to an oil based cleanser, be it, cleansing oil, natural oil, balm or micellar water, which are very effective when it comes to removing makeup/sunscreen. As for the second step, a soapy solution is the answer, including, foaming, gel or creamy cleansers, and these are great in deep cleansing, hydrating and softening the skin using a brush or just fingers.

One good thing is that no double cleansing is needed in mornings.

Double cleansing is not just a trend or an attempt to get extra cash when grabbing two different cleansers; it’s in fact a game changer making it the most important step of the skin care routine.

Everyone is raving about this natural substance, from nutritionists, beauticians to bloggers... Meet coconut oil. Internet is packed with its tremendous benefits that are claiming to replace every beauty product in your regimen. This is why, I'm excited to share with you today, few of my uses of the coconut oil.

In addition to its "Just came from a Bali Beach" smell, coconut oil in particular, is natural, economically friendly and has tons of surprising beauty uses, thanks to its antibacterial and anti-fungal properties.

Skin

- MakeUp Remover: Works as a balm. It gently breaks down the most stubborn makeup in no time and leaves the skin very soft and hydrate. A little amount is needed for the whole face and the only down is the greasy residue left  after wash but that's no big deal, at least for me, as I double cleanse anyway. 

- Lip Balm: In cold, dry seasons, coconut oil, heals instantly dry and chapped lips and can even work as a lip gloss. 

-Face masks: For a soft and supple skin mix 1 egg, 1/2 cup coconut oil and 1 tbsp of pure honey or just coconut oil and pure honey.

Hair

- Hair Mask: For hair growth stimulation and deep conditioning, massage coconut oil into the hair from roots to ends an hour or 2 before stepping into the shower or leave it overnight. It smells amazing and works wonders on dry and damaged hair thanks to its nourishing properties. In fact, coconut oil dramatically improved my hair condition. Another hair mask for treating split ends and preventing breaking; mix coconut oil with an egg yolk and apply to the scalp. For more hydration blend it with an avocado. 

- De-frizzer: A tiny bit is enough to detangle my hair and nourish my dry ends. It penetrates easily and doesn't even look greasy. 

- Curling Oil: Apply it on damp wet hair and works perfect as a curl definer, adding volume and shine.

Body

For a soft supple skin, removing dead skin is the key and the scrubs are the best to use.  For this, I mix coconut oil, raw sugar and essential oils, which are optional. This easy DIY scrub can be tick at first but it quickly melts and after rinsing, a light layer of coconut is felt which is not bothering and can be followed by body wash. It is in fact exfoliating and moisturizing.

I'm blindly obsessed with oils, and they never disappointed me.  You can find few of my essentials oils uses here and coconut oil is, with no doubt, a great element in my route of slowly getting rid of the harsh chemicals. There are still hundreds of application of this great oil, and I'm damn determined to test as many as I can. If haven't used yet, you better hurry and give it a go.

There are few things in winter I can't live without; socks, hand creams, foot cream,....And lip balms. Every year I go hunting for a remedy for my dry lips, I've tried many of the balms but there was always something I'm not happy with, either the scent, texture, the performance of the product, ....whatever, UNTIL, I found the right and perfect formula for a pampered pout.

To be honest I haven't been using a specific lip scrub lately as it's recommended everywhere, I only apply, during shower, my facial scrubs/exfoliators all over my face and that's it. However there is a famous DIY scrub I make it, whenever I have time, by mixing brown sugar with honey and a tiny squeeze of lemon or virgin olive oil. In case DIY is not your thing there are plenty of good and affordable alternatives.

Step two, is moisturizing and I believe it's the one that made the difference. It's actually a two steps in one, I first apply my DIY facial serums, shared here,  morning and night. Next, I switch between Nuxe Rêve de Miel Lip Balm and Noviderm Soothing Repair Lipstick to maintain soft and smooth lips. Believe me nothing performs better than these little beauties.

The consistency of the Rêve de Miel is quite thick with a chocolate orange scent.. Which is not bothering, though is not the chocolate I would choose for a sweet bite. I usually apply it before going to bed and the next morning my lips are significantly moisturized and soft... Package wise, I'm so in loooove with the little frosted glass pot.

The Noviderm, from the other hand, is as effective as the nuxe lip balm, with a sweet floral scent and a very smart and practical packaging. The texture though is lighter but very hydrating.

My last obsession that protects my lips is the Rimmel Lip Conditioning Balm which I reviewed here.

It's not lie, these stuff ended my lips misery. And you know what? I can wear matte lipsticks without worry... If you don't own one of these, grab your shoes and have a run to get one of them home. You won't regret it.

It's already November and heading to December. Fall-Winter is officially here. There is no doubt that the season is quiet and magical. Christmas decoration, fluffy slippers and warm cloths are all out and I just LOVE IT... Don't you???? But one downside, as the temperatures  drop, cold weather can take its toll on our skin.

Dermatologists agree that it's essential, with the season changing, to switch our skin care routine. In fact, the skin type might switch and that could lead to a not-at-all glowy skin. Here is my comprehensive guide to help keeping the skin healthy and beautiful for this period of the year.

1. Consider changing your gel or foaming cleanser (face and body) to another one with balm, lotion or creamy consistency to prevent over stripping the skin. Oil cleanser are also a great option for winter.

2. Opt for gentle exfoliators that are not harsh on the skin.

3. Invest on a thick moisturizer that's oil based. Choose the "non-clogging" oils that are known for retaining moisture in the skin such as, avocado oil,sweet almond oil, olive oil, ... etc. I personally would replace my night cream but I stick to my day moisturizer as I'm not the  kind to prefer the heavy creams on day time.

4. Despite the weather, sunscreen is a product to wear everyday. UV rays can cause serious damage to our skin throughout the whole year even if it's snowing in your area. In fact sun reflections of snow can be more harmful than the ones of the beach in summer. In cold times opt for at least SPF 15 in your moisturizer, foundation, hand creams, eye creams, ...etc. Make it a habit.

5. It's time to stock up some lip balms to kiss better. In this time of the year, I suffer from chapped flaky lips.. It hurts and it's awful. Use gentle lip exfoliator and follow with a tick lip balm. Get also a lipstick with built in balm.

6. I love to treat my hands and nails and especially in winter, when they get drier fast, as they have fewer oils glands than most parts of the body. I mostly go for creams packed with Shea butter and glycerin.

7. What could be better than a super hot shower/bath in cold winter days??? ... Well, the answer of "nothing" could be obvious to some. But trust me, you're better off with just warm water. Hot water in fact robs the skin of its natural oils which leads to a loss of moisture and can result in dryness.

8. Avoid fragrance ingredients, which can be irritating and drying.

At last, either it's high end or drugstore products, what's most important is how the skin responds to the product. Ultimately, we always have to listen to what our skin is telling no matter what season it is.

Lush is a brand that I have known about but never tried. Recently I did a research for my first purchase and once there, I could still get confused in front of the buckets of products everywhere.

The lady over there started to suggest all kind of soaps, scrubs ...etc. I wasn't sure if I should rely on her suggestions until she tried on my hand the Let The Good Times Roll cleanser and I was immediately fascinated by the soft feeling I got after wash.. Oh Man, that was awesome!!

Unfortunately, this cleanser is not great at removing makeup but honestly I don't think it was made for that in the first place.

As it's made of natural ingredients, The Let The Good Times Roll has a shelf life of 3 months only which is for me a bonus. I've explained in one of my earlier posts about the homemade beauty recipes, that I prefer to have small batches of the fresh products but at least they're natural... I know, that in this case, it would be too pricey and I totally agree, but to my defense I would suggest that we can switch between Lush and DIY products.

At the end, I gotta say, I'm converted. I adore how supple and moisturized my skin feels after use.... Again, yes it's expensive but personally I don't mind splurging on Lush products which are fresh and free of all questioned chemicals... And listen up, Lush are also fighting against animal testing and all their containers are made from recycled plastic.... The Let The Good Times Roll, was my first purchase from them but you can be damn sure I'll be purchasing more..

As fall-winter season knocked the door already, it's time for me to adjust my skin care regimen to something tick and hydrating. To start off, I decided to give the balm/butter "technology" a try; and of course I had to grab The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, which I will be reviewing today.

For the newbies in my blog, I'm obsessed with anything related to camomile. This cleansing butter, is basicaly my second product I use of this range from TBS. My first was the Camomile Waterproof Eye & Lip Make-up Remover and this stuff is simply AMAZING.

The Camomile sumptuous Cleansing Butter is described to be "an indulgent make-up remover for the whole face. It gently and efficiently melts away make-up and impurities, leaving skin feeling clean, refreshed and pampered. Gently melts away make-up, leaves skin feeling clean and petal-soft, removes all types of make-up and suitable for sensitive skin and contact lens wearers". And that's exactly what it does, however I can't confirm the last 2 points as I don't belong to any of these categories.

This cleansing butter comes in a light weight and secure tin, making it compact and easy for travel. At first glance when I opened it, I could only think of coconut oil in terms of texture and colour.

Verily, the camomile cleansing butter has a waxy consistency that melts at touch into a luxurious oil, with a calming floral scent where I detect camomile. It feels lovely on my dehydrated skin and it's ideal for a good soft face massage.

I'm sure everyone has gone trough the pain of removing the waterproof makeup. Well, not to worry gals, just name the most stubborn makeup product and I promise that it won't stand a chance.  A tiny bit of the product is needeed at a time which makes a little goes a long way.

The only down about this product, well you can't have it all, is the low amount of the camomile, but to its defense, this is just a cleanser that should be removed after few seconds.

Saving the best to the last, this cleansing butter, removes effortlessly my makeup without leaving my skin dry or tight and without the greasy residue I get from using the coconut oil. This stuf is great! My skin feels so soft and hydrated after using it. It's so gentle that even when I use it on my eyes, it doesn't sting.

As I've said in an earlier post, nothing beats cleansing wash and water, so I always go for a double cleanse. On the second step, though, there is no trace of makeup to report.

In fact, The Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter is definetely a good treat for colder and drier winter season. It's an absolute delight to use, super effective and luxurious. I LOVE IT!!! And for a fact, I officialy add it to my list of holy grail products.

I’m so excited to post this short review. For those who follow my blog or my instagram would know by now that I’m a lavender addict and today I’ll be talking about two products I grabbed at first glance once I spotted the word “Lavender”. It’s the Avalon Organics Exfoliating Enzyme Scrub and the Facial Cleansing Gel.

The exfoliating enzyme scrub incorporates ground walnut shells and fruit enzymes to provide a brightened, refreshed, not irritated or stripped dry skin. Nevertheless, exfoliating can sometimes be quite drying, however this product leaves my skin so hydrated due to the oils it contains. To make things better, this scrub is so gentle and packed with great ingredients, it consists of 70% organic content and it is paraben free. This product claims to brighten dull skin and smooth uneven skin and that’s so far what it’s been doing. Another great thing I’m amazed about is the lovely lavender scent which is very spa-like and relaxing. 

Likewise the facial cleansing gel uses organic oils based ingredients, lavender, chamomile and white tea to cleanse, calm and protect the skin. It is sulfates and paraben free thus it makes it a very gentle yet effective cleanser. It always provides that extra clean feeling without over drying it which makes it suitable for normal and oily skin types. From the other hand, the lavender scent is simply gorgeous and helps to destress. 

Ever since using these holy grail beauties, I have noticed a difference in my skin. It is more balanced and illuminated. I’m so happy with these products and I highly recommend them.

It’s been already 7 weeks since I posted my first part of the homemade skin care recipes and here I come again with the second part with some new ingredients which have great impact on the skin… Don’t be surprised I myself never thought of putting them on my face. So let’s get started.

Just like the first part, the main purpose of these masks is to help resolve any skin issues, have a healthy aging, pamper the skin, save you huge bills and of course have a cleaner greener living. 

When considering a beautifying bang for your buck, think legumes. Beans and legumes are biotin-rich which plays a big role in reducing wrinkles and dryness of the skin. It is also a great treatment for oily skin as one of its main benefits is to absorb excess oil. 

The first mask recipe is fully based on legumes to promote healthier and younger looking skin. For this you will need:

Grounded fava beans.

Grounded lupin seeds.

Grounded Fenugreek.

Grounded chick peas.

Grounded rice.

Oat.

Plain Yoghurt or milk.

Rose Water — Can be added for smell.

I could only get from the store grounded rice, fava beans and chick peas, for the rest I had to mill them myself using a grinder.

Combine all ingredients, having equal quantity of each, until getting a creamy texture. For those who are following my blog would know that I like to recycle all my empty bottle/jars but you could also use plastic containers as I did for this time and keep it in the fridge for multiple uses. This mask has a great tightening feeling due to the abundant biotin percentage it contains leaving the skin regaining its elasticity.

In terms of eyes and lips i’m sticking to my masks mentioned in part 1. However I’m in the quest of new treatments that I should share with you in future.

At last, I chose a mask to deal with dark spots and discolouration and would in the same be a good natural moisturiser. For this I used:  

Milk.

Oat — Helps remove dead skin cells, soak up oil and acts as a natural remedy to acne. It also improves the skin tone and texture and smooths out blotchy areas.

Yeast — Promotes production of some white blood cells, which helps healing acne and keeps the skin clear and healthy. 

Cornstarch — Possesses anti-inflammatory benefits; it calms itchy skin, rashes, and burns and also prevents skin problems.

Again, mix all ingredients in equal quantities and because of the strong smell of yeast, I prefer to place it in the ice cube tray in the freezer which I defrost it 20 to 30 minutes before use. It’s a great moisturising mask, some of you might mind the smell but personally I overcome it by simply looking at the great benefits I get.

For those who are tight on time and/or cash, it is still possible to provide your skin the special attention it needs to look healthy and rejuvenated. The natural beauty starts in the kitchen; what you put on your body is as important as what you put in it. I’m trying my best to provide simple homemade skin care recipes that cover all the bases.

Our skin is our barrier against the internal and external infection hence setting a few minutes each day to tend to it seems a small price to pay. A simple routine can make a dramatic difference in your skin's health but a proper daily regimen entails cleansing, correcting, hydrating and protecting elements.   

Today I thought of sharing my morning and evening skin care routines.  To set the scene first, my skin is kinda normal to dry. I tend to get spotty if I don't take my makeup off, drop some steps of my routine or simply if I'm stressed and hormonal. 

At last, the Noviderm Soothing Repair Lipstick has been the best lip treatment for me so far.

Few weeks back I popped into the nearest pharmacy for some skincare finds and as the pictures show in my instagram I got few of them and of course, for those who know me by now, would already guess that I picked them Paraben Free.  Today I’ll be reviewing the Grace Cole tea tree & witch hazel foaming facial wash and the body scrub.

The foaming facial wash asserts to “envelop your skin in a rich lather effectively sweeping away everyday impurities an keeping your skin looking smooth and radiant.” Tea tree is known for its anti-bacterial benefits whilst witch hazel keeps the skin clear and both of these ingredients are widely used in spot treatment.

This product is so gentle on the skin and washes off very easily. It’s also non drying and leaves the skin clean and refreshed. One of the things that amuses me is the light scent of tea tree, maybe because of witch hazel addition, and as I’m not a huge fan of it that makes it just perfect. 

From the other hand, the body scrub has a clear gel like formula with tiny particles. It claims to “rejuvenate, refine and smooth the skin. Its rounded microbeads stimulate the skin to remove dead cells and reveal radiance.”

It’s a very mild scrub that could be used daily. It leaves the skin fresh and smooth because of its gel formula I believe. The smell is also not strong, yet it is soothing some way. 

For anyone with blemish/acne/problem skin should definitely give this affordable range of products a try!

After a deep thought I’m sure I would be repurchasing the foaming facial wash. Unfortunately I like my body scrubs to be thick to feel the “real exfoliation” some of you might disagree but this is just my opinion.

Few years back my skincare routine was limited to a cleanser, toner and a moisturiser and to be honest I can’t even remember the number of times I skipped all the three and slept with my makeup on … I know, I know, that’s awful and I have to agree as this concluded only to a dull and uneven skin tone with dark spots and circles.

My process was very simple; I restricted my skincare routine only to my DIY masks and essential oils. And guess what?? It worked. I can even say that my skin was never as great as it is. Another thing that I noticed; this regiment improved the dryness of my skin; it feels more hydrated and regains its elasticity…. Magic No?????

I switch between these serums and sometimes I even use my day serum for night, it all depends on how I feel my skin that day. You can check the proper Skincare Order Of Application here. This recipe may need tweaking, to accommodate your skin care needs.  There are other essential oils that seem to have a good effect on the skin too and I will definitely try them in future but for the time being I’m only using what I have on hand. 

From the other hand, while the cost may seem exorbitant, in the long run it’s a much more economical scenario than buying high priced brand name serums and most importantly SAFER and keep in mind that just a little bit goes a long way.

So far, I’ve been using them for more than two year and again I LOVE IT…. Didn’t I say that too much by now??? I know but I’m really proud of my magical blend. My skin drinks it up and it looks much smoother and healthier and my panda eyes are completely gone.

This natural facial serum recipe is super easy to make. Just weigh the ingredients, mix and bottle. I hope you’ll give it a try and you’ll love it too!

When I first got into the beauty scene, I was convinced that all the watery solution aren’t worth trying as they were just pricy spring water, until I decided to try one. I’m sure you’ve all heard a great deal about micellar water by now. For those who don’t know what it is; it’s a water based cleanser containing micelles that acts like a magnet to remove dirt and makeup from your skin.

Micellar Water is the makeup remover of choice by makeup artists. Bioderma were the first to launch this micellar water hype and other competing brands came out later with similar products such as L’Oreal, Avene, Vichy,..etc. Today I thought I’d take a moment to review Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water.

I’ve been using this product for over 3 weeks now and I think I’ve given it a good trial to warrant my review. At first, I loved the packaging; it’s very sleek and girly especially with its pink lid. As clear on the label, Garnier claims to remove makeup, cleanse and soothe with no rinse off. It also claims to be convenient for face, eyes and lips for all skin type even the sensitive one. The best part is yet to come; it’s hypoallergenic with NO alcohol, NO perfume and PARABEN FREE. I wouldn’t have expected all this in a huge bottle for so cheap!

When it comes to removing makeup, I’m impressed. At first glimpse, it looks just like plain water and it’s hard to expect it would do any good but it really works. It simply whips makeup, oil and dirt off the skin leaving no residue or skin tightness. However, I can say that it’s not efficient with waterproof eye products. I personally prefer an oil based cleanser for a better job.

In theory, rinsing is not required after the use of micellar water, but as a skincare addict I still embrace my skin cleansing routine using a cleanser, a toner and a moisturizer. Honestly, nothing beats cleansing wash and water. Therefore, I’ve ended up using this micellar water as a makeup remover only.

Overall, Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is one those really satisfying products, so lightweight as you would presume from the world “Water”. It makes the skin feels lovely, refreshed and clean even after hours later with no other cleansers or products. It’s an excellent pick with no doubt. I wish if they had a junior version though convenient for travel/overnighter. With all that said, I will still repurchase it and I highly recommend it for 3 basic reasons; price, efficiency and ingredients.
